SpeakPost
Talk for two minutes, get an SEO-ready blog draft.
The best ideas for posts show up on a walk, on the bus, or right after a client call — and die there, because sitting down to write is the hard part. SpeakPost lets you record the idea while it's fresh and gives you a real draft to edit, not a transcript to rewrite.
What it does
- Record in the browser, on any device — no app to install
- Whisper transcription, then a structured post with title, H2s, meta description and target keyword
- Suggested internal links from your existing published titles
- Saves as a draft to your WordPress site for review — never auto-publishes
- Multi-user, each account with its own connected site
- Publishing targets for git-based sites like this one on the roadmap
Why I built it
I’ve written for the web since 2015 and the bottleneck was never ideas — it was the blank page. Most of my best posts started as a voice note to myself. SpeakPost closes the gap between that note and a draft I’m happy to edit.
How it works
- You sign in and hit record. The audio is uploaded to cloud storage.
- Whisper transcribes it.
- A model turns the transcript into a structured post: title, headings, meta description, a target keyword, and internal-link suggestions pulled from your site’s existing titles.
- The draft is sent to your site for review. It never publishes on its own.
Status
Public beta. I use it for this site; the next milestone is a publishing target for git-based sites so it can open a pull request instead of a WordPress draft. If you’d like early access, use the notify form above.
